Theoretical study demonstrates high-frequency photon splitting mechanisms across quantum and cosmic scales, indicating unified origins for particle mass, dark energy, and cosmic expansion proportions.
We propose a unified microscopic mechanism—the high-frequency photon connection and splitting model—addressing proton stability, hadronic mass origin, dark matter, dark energy, and cosmological energy proportions within a single framework. A Planck-frequency photon striking a target photon at its midpoint splits it into an expanding phase (+m, ordinary matter) and a contracting phase (-m, dark matter), while the incident photon converts entirely into a connecting tension layer (dark energy). All measurable mass originates from the connection layer; net matter mass is identically zero. We derive without circular reasoning: (i) the critical fission number Ncrit = (8π)^(3/2) ≈ 126; (ii) the conversion efficiency η = 2/N; (iii) the bombardment number k = ln(E_P / (m_e c^2)) ≈ 51.5; (iv) the cosmological proportions 5:25:70 via a Schechter integral. Two theorems are proven: Γ_eff(t) = H(t) and N_* = N_crit. A rigorous mass-gap proof Δ = 2ε_min > 0 in the discrete connection network is given. The 10^120 cosmological constant catastrophe is resolved. Spin is derived from impact-angle deviation: L_ang = ħ sin θ. A complete covariant action with ghost-free negative-mass sector and constant G_0 is constructed, verified in seven limiting cases. The Lagrangian is shown to be a function of frequency L = L(ω(t)), with all physics governed by the single variable ω(t) = ω_P / a(t). The model reduces to 15 known theories and yields 8 testable predictions.
