Argon and CO 2 lasers have been used to treat 13 patients with well‐established keloid scars of the trunk or earlobe. Multiple‐bore‐hole argon technique and total excision with the CO 2 laser were attempted. One patient with an earlobe keloid responded to treatment, all other patients had no improvement.
