Axisymmetric, differentially rotating models have been constructed which satisfy the equations of stellar structure. Numerical results are presented for homogeneous main-sequence models of 15, 30, and 60 . As total angular momentum is increased for a given mass, significant changes in the structure of the models and the calculated mass-luminosity relation occur. A change in the distribution of angular momentum in a model of fixed mass and total angular momentum is found to have a negligible effect on the luminosity, only a small effect on physical conditions at the center, but a substantial effect on the equatorial velocity. The effect of rotation on the main-sequence lifetime of a star is estimated.
