Theoretical analysis reveals a distinct stochastic gravitational wave background from dark sector remnants, indicating detectable early universe dynamics.
We present a non-standard cosmological framework for the early universe called Probability Stasis, in which dynamic phase transitions in the dark sector induce the local suppression of the kinetic gauge function, Za(rho) -> 0, where rho represents the background scalar field. This suppression effectively freezes quantum evolution in phase space within bounded spacetime regions, leading to the formation of metastable stasis remnants. We analyze the relaxation dynamics of these structures through the excitation of quasinormal modes (QNM) of the metric with a characteristic quality factor Q approx 2.10. We demonstrate that the stochastic release of energy coupled to the gravitational energy-momentum tensor generates a primordial stochastic gravitational wave background (SGWB) with a very distinctive spectral footprint: an infrared causal slope f^3, a Lorentzian peak centered at the mass scale of the remnants, and an exponential decay in the ultraviolet regime (f >> f_peak).
