Using the QCD sum rule approach, we calculate the electric dipole moment of the neutron induced by a vacuum θ angle to approximately $40%$-- $50%$ precision, dₙ0ex0ex=0ex0ex1.2×10^-16θecm. Combined with the new experimental bound, this translates into the limit |θ|<6×10^-10.
