Some twenty series excited in gaseous 80 Se 2 by lines of the Ar + laser have been photographed at moderate resolution. They arise from transitions B0 u + -X0 g + B1 u -X1 g and from cross transitions B1 u -XO g + and B0 u + -X1 g . Measurements in the range 6< nu "<12 and 58<J<202 lead to Delta nu 10 (X1 g -0 g + )=509.5+2.125 6 ( nu + 1 / 2 ) cm -1 and Delta nu 10 (B1 u -B0 u + ) becomes 75.45 cm -1 . Some consequences of the new values are briefly discussed.
