Fluorescence and absorption spectra of gaseous TeSe

Fluorescence spectra of gaseous, isotopically pure samples of TeSe, excited by five lines of the argon ion laser have been measured and the D-X systems of 128 Te 78 Se have been photographed in absorption at moderate resolution. Combination of the results has led to an analysis of the twenty-one observed fluorescence series into transitions between four upper states (or sub-states) and two lower states, x 0 + and x 1. Constants (cm -1 ) for the ground state of 128 Te 78 Se are derived.
