The phase diagram and results from magnetic susceptibility measurements in the isotropic phase are presented for the lyotropic liquid crystal cesium perfluoro octanoate + water in the presence of an added salt CsCl. Based upon the evolution of the Cotton-Mouton coefficient and in the context of an Onsager-type calculation we speculate on the micellar conformation as a function of electrolyte concentration.
