For a determination of K1, K3 and the anisotropy of the diamagnetic susceptibility Δ x of two alkoxyphenyl-hexylpyrimidines and a mixture of both, and six eyano-phenyl-alkylcyclohexanoates, we have used a combined electro-magneto-optical method. The temperature dependence of K1 and K3 can be explained by common theories. The Ax are relatively small, decreasing with longer alkyl chains.
