This paper presents the development and test results of a fiber-optic gyro of 0.01 deg/h accuracy grade designed at Concern CSRI Elektropribor, JSC, in cooperation with St. Petersburg State University of Information Technologies, Mechanics, and Optics. The problems regarding gyro accuracy, stability of output characteristics, drift compensation, dead-zone suppression, and the magnetic field effect are discussed.
