This symposium will be about the ethical limits of the application of science and technology to sport. There are some areas the sporting community has agreed that it is unethical to use sport science, for example doping. But are there other areas? How does the imperative to go faster, higher and stronger deal with deliberately imposed limits? Are there other ethical limits to use of science and technology in sport? What is the athlete's view on this topic which gives it the real human face?
