Laboratory study demonstrates sensitive electrochemical detection of dextromethorphan in biological fluids, suggesting a robust platform for pharmaceutical monitoring.
/CCNs/GCE showed high selectivity and sensitivity. Under optimized experimental conditions, the peak current of DXM and its concentration exhibited a good linear relationship over the concentration range of 0.1-100 μM, and the limit of detection (S/N = 3) was 0.02 μM. Furthermore, the electrochemical sensor presented good stability, and it was successfully used for the determination of DXM in pharmaceutical, human serum and urine samples.
