Abstract—The problem of the mitigation of the crossflow in the yawed-wing boundary layer using a spanwise-periodic near-wall body force simulating the action of a system of plasma actuators is considered within the framework of the system of Navier—Stokes equations. The calculations are performed using the expansion of the unknown functions into the Fourier series in the streamwise variable and the finite-difference second-order approximation in the vertical variable. The role of the pressure gradient induced by the action of the controlling body force in the formation of disturbed flow is shown.
