The NMR relaxation rate, T -1 1 , is calculated for the various possible types of anisotropic superconductivity in quasi-one-dimensional systems proposed by the present authors for the (TMTSF) 2 X family. A comparison with recent experiment by Takigawa, Yasuoka and Saito on (TMTSF) 2 ClO 4 indicates that the superconductivity of this family belongs to a novel type with the order parameter having lines of zeros on the Fermi surface.
