Reactions which have been represented as of the quasi-unimolecular type are reviewed. With the possible exception of the isomerization of cyclopropane to propylene, it is suggested that no clean-cut examples have so far been discovered. In view of this conclusion it is further suggested that the apparent restriction placed on rate of activation by collision is in need of review.
