New mass measurements are given for the nuclei Ti⁴⁸, Sr⁸⁶, Sr⁸⁸, Mo⁹⁸, Sn¹¹⁷, Sn¹²⁰, Pt¹⁹⁴, Pt¹⁹⁶, and Pb²⁰⁸. The evidence given for the theory of magic numbers in nuclear structure by nuclear mass measurements is discussed.
