Dielectric and derivatographic investigations and studies on electrical conductivity of NaTaO3 single crystals and ceramics have been carried out. The performed experiment has not confirmed the occurrence of a ferroelectric phase in this compound. However, the dielectric constant anomalies were observed in the region of phase transitions. It was found that properties of the ceramic depend strongly on its grain size.
