Effective permeability μeff at high frequency and quantitative analysis of local anisotropy fluctuation were systematically examined for the Fe and Fe based alloy films. As the results, it was clarified that in Fe-N and Fe-Si-Al films, in which large magnitude of local anisotropy fluctuation observed, the magnitude of μeff is independent of the value of intrinsic anisotropy field Hk and proportional to 1/√S. In all films examined, the magnitube of μeff is determined by rotation process ruled by effective anisotropy field Hkeff taking account of local demagnetizing field caused by local anisotropy fluctuation. At frequency lower than natural resonance of magnetization, the resonance was observed in 81Ni-Fe-Nb film. While, clear resonance is not observed in Fe-N film. It is suggested that this difference of μeff on frequency is mainly caused by the difference of domain structure due to the degree of dispersion for Hkeff in films.
