The results obtained from the nuclear magnetic resonance spectra of 141 Pr and 51 V in the Van Vleck paramagnetic PrVO 4 in the temperature range 1.6 to 20K are fitted to a spin Hamiltonian. The parameters for the Pr 3+ ion, which are enhanced through the hyperfine interaction, and their interpretation are discussed. The magnitude of the electronic moment induced by an external magnetic field is calculated from the nuclear resonance measurements.
