A method of numerical computation for obtaining diffuse equilibrium configurations of high-beta tori with a free boundary is presented. Typical computation results for various types of the high-beta tokamak, the screw pinch with force-free fields, the reversed-field pinch, the belt pinch, and the double-theta pinch are shown and discussed.
