Driven Growth in the Restricted Solid-On-Solid Model in Higher Dimensions

We present results of numerical simulations of growth in the restricted solid-on-solid model in d = 3 + 1 and 4 + 1 dimensions. We estimate the scaling exponent β using a novel ansatz for the spatially averaged height correlation function G( t ) ∼ t β . In four dimensions, our results are in good agreement with recent simulations of Forrest and Tang ( Phys. Rev. Lett. , 64 (1990) 1405) for a different growth model.
