The results of broad-band BVR c I c JHKL' photometry of late-type stars are used to define a bolometric correction BC Ic as a function of (V-I) c or (R-I) c , where m bol = I c + BC Ic . The bolometric corrections BC H and BC K are also derived, and simple analytic expressions are given for BC Ic , BC H , and BC K as functions of color index.
