Comparative folkloric analysis reveals a seven-feature marginal forager profile in global narratives, indicating geographically bounded cultural memory of extinct hominins.
This paper characterizes the Type B ("Gracile / Small-Statured / Marginal Forager") morphotype within the Hominin Mythology Project framework. Through systematic synthesis of 15 high-likelihood candidates from a coded global folklore corpus, a 7-feature basal marker set is identified: small stature, subterranean retreat, strict photophobia, specialized marginal foraging, biological tool substitution, distinct vocalizations, and nocturnal construction. A targeted control region search (San culture) yielded a 0% true-positive hit rate, challenging the "universal archetype" objection and positioning the Type B signal as a geographically bounded cultural memory. The paper includes experimental validation of the awl-and-stocking harvesting technology attributed to the Chud tradition.
