Exploratory case study demonstrates how cloud computing improves operational efficiency and data interoperability in private health networks, highlighting the need for strategic governance.
This study investigates cloud computing adoption as a catalyst for sustainable digital healthcare transformation in emerging markets. Using an exploratory case study of Practo Technologies analyzed through the Science–Technology–Strategy framework, we examine how cloud infrastructure enables scalability, operational efficiency, and dynamic capability alignment in private health networks. Qualitative data from semi-structured interviews and organizational records reveal that cloud migration optimizes resource allocation, enhances data interoperability, and mitigates legacy infrastructure bottlenecks. However, operationalizing cloud elasticity requires synchronizing technical architecture with strategic governance and workforce readiness. The findings offer a strategic framework for healthcare executives and policymakers navigating cloud transformation in resource-constrained environments.
