Theoretical analysis uncovers Entropic Zero as a settlement reference of informational balance in quantum structural theory, suggesting a bridge between coherent and reductive entropy.
Description QSTH 6.1 Revised — Entropic Zero Revisited revisits one of the earliest concepts of the Quantum Structural Theory of Harmony (QSTH) and reformulates it within the informational architecture developed by the QSTH Revised Trilogy. The central revision is a transition from interpreting Entropic Zero (E₀) as an entropic minimum toward understanding it as a candidate settlement reference point. The work argues that an absolute minimum is methodologically dependent on the chosen system, scale, boundaries, and representation. E₀ is therefore not defined by absolute zero, energetic minimum, or absence of dynamics, but by the relational balance between coherent and reductive informational contributions. Within the QSTH ledger framework, this balance is expressed through the approximate condition ΔS_coh ≈ ΔS_red and consequently ΔS_coh − ΔS_red ≈ 0. This condition does not imply that information, dynamics, coherence, or physical processes disappear. Instead, it represents a candidate state in which the effective informational difference no longer exhibits a dominant directional imbalance. The publication connects E₀ with the broader S_eff informational ledger, Temporal Information Metric (TiM), Settlement Dynamics, and record formation. In this interpretation, a record answers the question what survived?, settlement asks how did it stabilize?, while E₀ provides a candidate reference against which that stabilization may be evaluated. The work also explores Hybrid Entropy as an open candidate formalization bridge between Boltzmann and von Neumann descriptions of entropy. This construction is explicitly presented as a CANDIDATE formalization direction, not as an established physical identity or new law of nature. QSTH 6.1 Revised does not present Entropic Zero as a new physical law, source of energy, technological mechanism, physical singularity, or endpoint of time. Its purpose is to provide a more disciplined and auditable language for one of the oldest QSTH motifs. The publication forms the third and concluding pillar of the QSTH Revised Trilogy: Probability → Readability → Settlement, completing the architecture: Born → ΔS_coh → S_eff → TiM → Settlement → Record → E₀. Additional description / Notes Part III and concluding pillar of the QSTH Revised Trilogy: Probability → Readability → Settlement. QSTH 6.1 Revised completes the trilogy by interpreting Entropic Zero (E₀) as a candidate settlement reference point for informational balance.
