Theoretical analysis demonstrates a photon energy elevation mechanism across cosmic evolution, suggesting an infinite matter-light cycle that permanently avoids heat death.
The heat death hypothesis was originally conceived by Kelvin and Clausius. Limited by the knowledge of their era, the early scientific community had no concept of photons. They deduced from thermodynamic entropy increase that the universe would eventually dissipate into a dead state. Later physical inferences suggested that all matter would ultimately disintegrate into dispersed low energy photons. Based on accumulated human research experience, this paper puts forward the Theory of Photon Origin. The deduction of the heat death hypothesis supports the view that light is the fundamental origin of all cosmic matter. This paper demonstrates that throughout cosmic evolution, low energy photons can undergo photon photon interaction under stringent conditions, giving rise to the physical effect of step by step energy elevation. This persistent, slow process occurs at all times and is not restricted to the late stage of cosmic evolution. The present day universe has not reached heat death. This objective fact indicates gaps in existing theories or observational tools. The energy elevation mechanism exists objectively, even though it has not yet been detected by human observers. With infinite cosmic time and an enormous reservoir of photons, this mechanism continuously accumulates energy, enabling an infinite cycle between light and matter and permanently avoiding the heat death scenario. This phenomenon has not been directly verified by experiments due to observational constraints.
