The need for multiregional clinical trials for in Vitro diagnostic devices and extrapolating results in a new region is increasing in recent years. In this paper we are providing strategies for consideration of bridging studies for the two most common types of clinical trials for in Vitro diagnostic, method comparison and diagnostic clinical performance trials.
