ABS>The magnetic properties of Er-Th alloys below 1 deg K are studied. Er concentrations of 0.82 to 9.6% are used. Magnetic cooling curves are given from 0.73 deg K as a function of the change in the magnetic field. Temperatures as low as 0.07 deg K are reached. The cooling efficiency of the Er-Th alloys is compared with that of paramagnetic salts. (T.F.H.)
