Oscillator strengths for Si III

The authors have calculated the excitation thresholds and oscillators strengths for the twelve lowest states of Si III by using the configuration interaction wavefunctions. The agreement for excitation thresholds with the experimental values is better than two per cent. The length and velocity values of oscillator strengths are close to each other and agree well with the values of other workers.
