Diffusion-limited aggregation without branching in the continuum approximation

A model, recently introduced to describe diffusion-limited aggregation without branching (i.e., in the limit of extreme anisotropy), is studied in the deterministic continuum limit. An exact solution of the resulting nonlinear mean-field equations, describing deposition onto a (d-1)-dimensional surface from a d-dimensional semi-infinite space, is found.
