Graded doses of dietary aflatoxin (0, 0.625, 1.25, 2.5, and 5.0 μg./g.) were tested for their effect on the function of the reticuloendothelial system in clearing colloidal carbon from circulation. The rate of clearance was decreased significantly (P<0.05) at 1.25 μg./g., and at 5 μg./g. the rate was about one-fourth the control rate.
