Wavefront reproduction or reversal, observed earlier experimentally and interpreted for stimulated Brillouin scattering, is considered now in the case of stimulated Raman scattering, i.e., for the scattering accompanied by a relatively large frequency shift. A condition is derived for the frequency shift which ensures that the reproduction effect occurs also in stimulated Raman scattering.
