This paper presents the results of new computations of radar cross sections for dielectric and metal spheres. Tables resulting from digital computer solutions of the classical Mie scattering coefficients are given in increments of 0.01 circumference to wavelength ratio. The phase of the backscattered wave is also given. Recursion relations are used to transform the scattering coefficients for machine computation. The precision of the new computation is discussed.
