A set of coefficients has been obtained by fitting an empirical nonlinear limb-darkening law of the form I(j )/I(t) = 1 -A (1- -Bx log to values of I ( ) /1(l) computed from a grid of hydrogen line-blanketed model atsmospheres. in addition, a set of coefficients for the conventional linear law has been calculated. The comparison with previous theoretical values for the linearized law shows good agreement with Grygar's (1965) results but systemati- cally smaller values than those found by Hosokawa (1967).
