A two-band, Hartree-Fock model of an antiferromagnetic metal is constructed. It exhibits a first-order phase transition at the N\'eel temperature, an antiferromagnetic →q vector which is incommensurable with the lattice and varies slightly with temperature and interaction strength, a nonvanishing energy gap at the N\'eel temperature, a linear relationship between energy gap and N\'eel temperature, and a heat of transformation which varies quadratically with the N\'eel temperature.
