Synthèse de la Dé‐Pro⁷‐oxytocine, de la Dé‐Leu⁸‐oxytocine et de la Dé‐Gly⁹‐oxytocine

Three new analogues of Oxytocin in which one of the amino‐acids of the peptidic side‐chain has been omitted, i.e. De‐Pro 7 ‐Oxytocin, De‐Leu 8 ‐Oxytocin and De‐Gly 9 ‐Oxytocin, have been synthesized according to the scheme (3+5). All three analogues exhibit about 1% of the uterus contracting and milk ejecting activities of Oxytocin, but no avian depressor property.
