The concepts for design of phase-sensitive measuring instruments, based on two-phase synchronous detection, are proposed. The main idea of the design is to utilize the advantages of both analog and digital signal processing methods via combining the principles of synchronous detection and averaging with the principles of integrating analog-to-digital and functional digital-to-analog conversion.>
