The r63 electro-optic coefficient of KDP is measured at 23.3 °C with a good accuracy, using the modulation frequency doubling method based upon the Senarmont modulator, together with its frequency dependence on the modulating frequency up to 0.5 MHz. Thermo-optic and piezo-optic contributions are also determined.
