Two successive phase transitions at 133 and 128 K are observed in calcium cadmium acetate hexahydrate by Cu(II) electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR). From analysis of EPR spectra recorded in the temperature range 290-10 K, it is shown that, whereas the first transition is first-order, the second one is second-order and could be a commensurate-incommensurate transition.
