Neuroimaging analysis demonstrates small correspondence between reported color similarity and visual neural geometry in healthy adults, highlighting alignment with representational perceptual models.
This preprint reports a frozen, participant-level fMRI representational similarity analysis of reported color-similarity structure and no-report ventral-visual neural geometry in 30 participants. The corrected endpoint showed a small residual correspondence under the dual-high-pass analysis contract, supported by a nuisance-preserving null and independent computational reproduction. Reviewer validation also revealed high-pass sensitivity. The findings are theory-relevant to Fibre Bundle v3 and NDT but do not establish qualia, consciousness, causality, or mechanism.
