The growth of ferroelectric Pb(ZrxTi1-x)O3 films on platinized Si(100) substrates by a modified sol-gel technique was studied as a function of processing by means of XRD, SEM and TEM analyses. The data were correlated with the ferroelectric properties of the thin films.
