Two patients with infection due toMycobacterium kansasiiare described in which skin lesions occurred in an ascending proximal fashion strongly suggesting sporotrichosis. These are apparently the second and third persons reported to have cutaneous infection due toM kansasiiand the first ones in which a sporotrichoid pattern of skin involvement was present.
