Alerts clinicians to renal subcapsular hematoma after transradial PCI; extends known access-site risks and leaves open preventive strategies.
This case demonstrates that while transradial access for PCI is generally safe, rare and severe complications like renal subcapsular hematoma can occur, particularly in patients with pre-existing renal cysts receiving high-dose heparin.
