Theoretical derivation demonstrates the emergence of physical spacetime from phase actualization in HoloGenesis, indicating that space and time are derivative aspects of recurrence.
HoloGenesis (HG) models spacetime as a recurrent physical substrate whose temporal and spatial properties emerge together through a process of actualization rather than existing independently in advance. This article develops the Primitive Elaption Identity, a proposed cornerstone relation of the HG inception architecture. The analysis begins from the distinction between compact recurrent phase and unwrapped accumulated phase, and from the treatment of physical aperture as a cumulative rather than oscillatory variable. Under phase homogeneity, cumulative additivity, soft inception, and normalization over one complete phase winding, the actualization fraction is shown to coincide with the unique normalized translation-invariant measure on the primitive U(1) phase circle. The resulting aperture law is affine and does not require the prior assumption of a specific quadratic aperture action. Combining this phase measure with the polar mother-field metric yields an identification between normalized phase winding, normalized canonical phase capacity, and the squared mother-field amplitude. Physical elapsed time is then introduced only after this relation has been established, by identifying time with the normalized accumulation of recurrence actualization. The first-order recurrence ledger similarly identifies the same quantity with the fraction of the primitive physical energy valuation that has become manifest, while the rolled and subsequently unrolled recurrence geometry identifies it with normalized spatial elaption. These relations collapse into a single dimensionless actualization coordinate linking temporal duration, spatial extension, phase winding, canonical phase momentum, physical energy realization, and field amplitude. The resulting ontology gives the HG concept of spacetime a precise meaning. Space and time are not treated as two independent substances combined into a four-dimensional background. They are complementary measures of one underlying physical occurrence: the actualization of spacetime recurrence. Spatial elaption measures the extension of that recurrence, while temporal elaption measures its accumulated actualization. Their ratio defines the characteristic propagation conversion between the spatial and temporal expressions of the same substrate. In this sense, spacetime is primary within the physical domain, while space and time are derivative aspects of its recurrence. The same construction produces an explicit representation of inaugural actualization in which the first phase winding simultaneously builds its own amplitude, distinguishing the first inception trajectory from the constant-radius recurrence that follows once the primitive standing is complete. The result therefore supplies HG with a unified description of how phase, action, energy, spatial extension, and physical time can emerge together from one normalized act of recurrence closure. The derivation is internal to the HoloGenesis framework and should be understood as a theorem conditional on its accepted inception ontology, not as an independent empirical validation of the model.
