Theoretical and empirical analysis reveals mechanisms to harmonize employee and group interests in organizations, suggesting hybrid reward systems enhance team cohesion.
The article reveals the dialectical nature of the relationship between personal and team interests in the management system of a modern organization. The relevance of the study is due to the growing contradiction between the need for high individual motivation among employees and the need to integrate them into a unified team. In order to confirm the managerial nature of the problem of achieving a balance between personal and team needs, the types of conflicts of interest, their essence, and their advantages are identified. Based on theoretical analysis and empirical research, the mechanisms for harmonizing interests are identified. Recommendations are proposed for their selection and adaptation to the company's specifics, diagnostics of the level of consistency between employees' personal goals and team objectives, and the design of a hybrid KPI and reward system. The key role of coordination, which ensures the vertical and horizontal connectivity of all management actions, is substantiated. The research results can be used by managers and HR specialists in the development of motivation systems that focus on both individual responsibility and team cohesion.
