1,2,3-Triazole Formation under Mild Conditions via 1,3-Dipolar Cycloaddition of Acetylenes with Azides

1,3-Dipolar cycloadditio n of azides to various electron-withdrawing group substituted acetylenes lead ing to triazole for mation under mild conditions (reaction temperature around 55 °C or below ) are reviewed.Furtherm ore, our efforts to lo wer the reaction tem perature of cycloaddition of acetylenic am ides with azides have also been discussed.
