Tunneling measurements of the energy gaps at T ≈ 1.2 °K in thick [Formula: see text] and thin [Formula: see text] films of aluminium, lead, indium, and tin are reported. The thin films have isotropic gaps consistent with the Anderson theory of dirty superconductors; the thick films all exhibit behavior that may be interpreted as due to the existence of multiple gaps.
