Complement‐dependent rosette formation by human adenoid lymphocytes could be inhibited by preincubating the lymphocytes with fresh serum activated in vitro. Similar rosette inhibition was seen when lymphocytes were incubated in serum of patients with immune‐complex‐associated conditions, but not by normal serum, suggesting that this test may have clinical usefulness.
