Copper–β-amyloid peptides exhibit neither monooxygenase nor superoxide dismutase activities

Contrary to earlier claims, the Cu(II) complex with the soluble Aβ16 peptide, and also that with Aβ28 exhibit no phenol monooxygenase (tyrosinase-like) activity; the complexes neither exhibit superoxide dismutase activity.
