We consider the possible decay modes of a heavy Higgs boson in the mass range MW(~80 Gev)≤MH≤1 TeV within the standard model of Weinberg and Salam. For MH>2MW, Z we find the decay modes H→W⁺W^- or Z⁰Z⁰ to dominate the usual fermion-antifermion decay (ff); for MW,Z≤MH≤2MW, Z we find the Higgs-boson width still dominated by f̄f although new decays such as H→W^±+f̄f^' and H→Z⁰+f̄f are present. These new decay modes are significantly phase-space suppressed and are found to contribute with branching ratios less than 1%.
